So, it may be that time to install version , which I have, what is the best practice to upgrade software versions?

I searched this topic too, but found nothing. I run a home based business, and if I can’t fix this, I might have to get a job.

I work with many customers and most of my data is stored on Dropbox, good or bad, but the regen was causing extreme delays. I pack and go’ed the file back into my hard drive and the issue was mostly fixed, still painfully slow, but functional.

As for downloading , I have been under the assumption that cleaning off completely is a good idea. But I would have to be careful of the Content center files. I also think there must be a good way to migrate all data, or at least the most used data, at the same time as the new install. I have botched this before in the past.

Just to clarify, any Inventor major release can be installed side-by-side with prior or future releases. There is no need to remove from your machine when you install Inventor works much better if all files are on your local harddrive. I am grateful for all of your help thus far, I will try to report back on my issues if I am able to fix them, new internet provider is on the way!

Now to tackle the hardware muscles. I have opted out of installing just yet, but that will come shortly.
